Our Story
Our journey began with an unexpected collision of fate and a broken white plastic chair. It was the night of our high school graduation, at the after-party, where Hailey's impromptu seating choice resulted in Lane landing in her lap, and the chair collapsing beneath them. Amidst the laughter and the resulting baseball-sized bruise on Hailey's leg, a spark ignited, and we became inseparable from that moment on.
As we ventured into the world beyond high school, our bond only grew stronger. We continued to see each other, and on July 4th, 2017, we officially became a couple.
The years that followed were filled with adventures, laughter, and countless cherished memories. We saved diligently, dreaming of a place we could call our own. Finally, that dream became a reality when we purchased our first home in Sylvan Lake, where we now reside with our two beloved dogs, Flinn and Kalvin.
But perhaps the most memorable chapter in our story unfolded on a cold January day in 2023, amidst the breathtaking slopes of Sunshine in Banff. After a day of exhilarating skiing, Lane finally gathered the courage to ask the most important question of all, Hailey said YES!
Now, as we eagerly anticipate the next chapter of our journey together, we are filled with excitement and gratitude. We cannot wait to exchange vows, surrounded by the love and support of our cherished friends and family.
